Scholarship Students Not Hopeful Beneficiaries of the Madam Suakoko Scholarship, Bong County-run scholarship program are said to be in serious dilemma, as authorities of Bong County appear not to be concern about under-writing arrears owed universities and other higher institutions of learning across the country. The Bong Legislative Caucus Chair told reporters in Gbarnga, that the county was busy clearing arrears owed institutions, and could not be definite on the payment of scholarship fees for this semester. Though the Bong County lawmaker was not clear about the tuition aid program, he smiled and avoided curious reporters. It can be recalled that suspended Caucus member Jewel Howard-Taylor, recently told a gathering of citizens in Gbarnga that everything was being done to resume the program, stressing that absolutely no one could halt the process. At the same time, beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme have received another blow, as the administration of the Cuttington University is currently deducting fees owe from any amount they pay as registration and other fees.
