Scholarship sanctioned for JK students in AMU Srinagar, Aug 4: Ministry of Human Resources Development Government of India has been sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 22 lakh to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) under special scholarship programmes for students of Jammu and Kashmir studying outside the state. In a statement, the Jammu and Kashmir Aligarh Association has welcomed the initiative saying it will be of great help to students of the state studying at AMU. “This will facilitate around 200 graduate students from State studying at AMU,” said JKAA patron Dr. Manzoor Ahmad. He thanked HRD Ministry particularly Jitin Prasada (MoS) for facilitating this scholarship. ● Elkam Peer ●
