Scholarships for ‘International Relations and European Integration’ Studies in the Estonian School of Diplomacy Deadline: 31 May 2014 The Estonian School of Diplomacy invites scholarships applications from international students who plan to pursue studies in International Relations and European Integration program. Students from Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine are invited to submit the applications for the year 2014/15. The scholarship covers tuition fee, visa/residence permit cost, local health insurance, accommodation, and a decent monthly allowance. Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must be the citizen of one of the eligible countries – Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhastan, Kyrgystan, Montenegro, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine. Applicant must not be older than 35 years at the time of application. Applicant must have good command over English language. The applicant must be highly motivated to learn about international relations and related disciplines. Applicant from Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhastan, and Montenegro must be currently employed by the foreign service of the respective country and must have been employed there at least one year. S/he must also hold at least BA degree with already proven academic or professional interest in international relations. Applicant from Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine must be currently employed by the Armenian foreign, including EU-related, or other civil services with international outreach (including their respective diplomatic academy); or s/he must be affiliated with in International Relations discipline in public institution (state university, research institute, think tank), and must have been employed there at least one year. The same condition applies for applicants from Azerbaijan and Moldova. Applicant from Belarus must be currently affiliated or employed by a non-governmental civil society organization/institution in Belarus or focused on Belarus; or is affiliated with in International Relations discipline in an academic or research institution. Applicants must submit completed ESD application form along with curriculum vitae (English), motivation letter, copies of university transcript in English translation, copy of passport, 1 passport sized photo, academic essay.
