School Project Update: In the village of Grabovac is the school Miograg Cajetinac which was destroyed by the floods in May. Lifeline Chicago was the first ones to come to their aid. We replaced the roof and now we start on the windows. A heartfelt expression of gratitude goes to everyone who supported the “Music on the Lake Fundraiser” hosted by the Associated Group of Lifeline Chicago. A wonderful evening was spent on Lake Michigan with friends enjoying music played by Mismo Orchestra our royal tambura band. Mismo has donated their time for the last several years playing at many events.. Donations were raised to replace all the old damaged windows in the school as well as new chairs for the students. More updates to follow.
