School may be here, but before we all head inside to hibernate, lets have one last hoorah! Lets take advantage of the sun with a fun outdoor activity. The best part? It doesn’t cost a dime. Here’s a sweet little game we discovered and wanted to share with you. Introducing, “Catch the Dragon’s Tail!” What You’ll Need One dragon tail (One dish rag) Instructions are simple! Gather the neighborhood kids together. Split into at least two teams. At least six kids per team is ideal. The more teams, the more fun. Have your teams form lines then place their hands on the waist of the person in front of them. Have the persons at the end of each line tuck the dish rag into the waistband of their shorts or pants. Each line represents one dragon. The object of the game is for the “head” of each dragon to retrieve the “tail” or dish rag from the back of the competing dragon. The team that retrieves the first tail wins! If you’re playing with more than one team, the last team standing wins! Bonus! Turn on the sprinklers for extra fun!
