School rankings, the top 10 schools are at the bottom of this article. journaldemontreal/2014/11/06/un-bond-prodigieux-pour-plusieurs-ecoles Not much has changed. I understand this ranking shows only academic performance, and that is very little, especially when it doesnt take in consideration if the school has students with difficulties, etc.. Still, what surprises me is that highly selective public schools manage to perform worse than many private schools that are not that selective. I know people say private schools select only the best, but I know thats not really true. Now, schools like École International, or Academie de Roberval, those are very selective, so they really get the best students. It should reflect on their academic performance. In a way, yes it, does. But how come private schools get less stellar students and make them perform better at final exams? Does anyone have any thoughts on that?
