School testing: The simplest farm kid in America understands that you cannot fatten a steer by weighing it. You have to feed it something! We are so consummed and otherwise possessed with measuring learning outcomes that we have no clue or apparent interest regarding what to do about learning input. It is like trying to solve a math problem with only half of the equation. Further we are completing no meaningful research or attaining solutions while spending an incredible amount of money and time on a fishing expedition hoping we will land on the right answer. JPO
