Schools should be a place to learn more than literacy and numeracy. To equip a student to go through the long life journey, schools must teach Respect and Confidence. I do mean Teach. Confidence is NOT about being positive. It can be learnt. If we all wind back the clock and become four years old, our innocence and naivety enable us to learn and acquire immense amount of knowledge only if we have the confidence to ask, Why? Respect sets the boundary. It is an answer to solve our worldly problems - pollution, violence and discriminaion. This is not my wish, because I am actually working to spread my words.
