Schuylark debut collection at Phoenix Fashion Week Oct.3 2014 Im sitting at the airport waiting to leave Phoenix for the last time. Its been a crazy busy 4 months leading up the big finale. Did I win? Depends on how you define that. No, I did not take home any titles or awards(Sean Mazzetti youre off the hook). But I will be leaving with some incredible memories. Hard work, sleepless nights, crying, laughing, doubt and ultimately pride in what I accomplished. More importantly I was given the chance to meet and get to know, an incredible group of talented people. Not just the designers but the Phx Fashion Week team, especially Abbei the bright spot, always ready to build you up and talk you off the proverbial ledge. Could I have done more? Absolutely. Better? Perhaps. But in the end Im satisfied. Ill leave this without regrets and again with immense gratitude to all that supported me through it. Onward and upward to all the emerging designers and congratulations to the winner Misha Mendicino Design.
