Science has given the world explanations, hope, cures, treatments, convenience, memories, and will continue to give and give; however, why in this country do we attack scientific advancement?? Wtf is wrong with us?? I search and search to try and try to understand those who attack and dismiss reality; my head hurts. What has organized faith given us?? Im not trying to be a smartass this time, but lets be honest, it has produced war and war and war and death and suppression and fear and more death...yet 77% of our society identifies with some religious ideology. I got a long list of religious wars (aztec human sacrifice, the witch hunts, the inquisition, the crusades) and total death numbers from these wars and its kind of scary. I cant bring myself to ever ever identify with any form of history that has hurt so many people...those of you who worship some form of organized faith dont pay it forward at all because you all pick and choose what part of your ideology to claim, but you cant do that, or you can and look like an idiot. I will never shut up until most of our society is filled with atheists and people who acknowledge the harsh reality of organized faith and what it has done over time to our world. Use your brain and keep your eyes off the bible!
