Scientific Co-ordinator - Volunteer Turtle Monitoring Program Advertiser: Care For Hedland Environmental Association Location: Port Hedland, Western Australia Salary/Conditions: Part-time (38 hours per week); 21st October 2013 - 18th December 2013 (start/finish times can be negotiated) The Care For Hedland Environmental Association seeks a motivated team player to assist with the co-ordination of the scientific component of the 2013/2014 Volunteer Flatback Turtle Monitoring Program. Experience in leading beach patrols, coordinating and conducting the collection of scientific data from nesting sea turtles particularly flipper tagging, PIT tagging and biometrics information [longitudinal & width and individual animal health] preferred and previous experience training and with working with volunteers viewed favourably.
