Scientific inquiry: Has the child been effected by the parentss choice of nanny? Evidence: At the end of her meal, E tips her bib up and proceeds to eat everything that fell into her bibs large catch all pocket: bits of egg, cottage cheese, bell pepper and cantaloupe. She eats it all off of the bib, now upside down and dropping food into her face just like passengers slid down the deck of the sinking Titanic into the sea. This scientist is embarrassed to admit that she cannot deny her own influence on the child. The priority of pragmatism over decorum is obvious.
