Scientists believe lemurs made their way from continental Africa to Madagascar millions of years ago by way of floating vegetation at sea. To get around today, theyre apparently using radiated tortoises, a critically endangered species. Lemurs arent getting around very easily. 94% of all lemurs are threatened, making them the most imperiled group of large vertebrates.
