Scoped out another new trail system (new to us at least) at Weiser State Forest Christmans Tract just north of Beltzville Lake. Awesome trails for winter fat bike riding! Elevation started at 1500 and went up to about 1750 so it was relatively flat. Main trail is double track with lots of fast, winding singletrack through the woods in the middle and cool boundary trail. Trails were well marked and hard to get lost since main trail ran right up the middle and you were always only a few miles from the parking lot. Some roots and rocks and a few downed tree log overs, but not at all technical. No mud at all except for access road we parked at. Can picture this being our go to trail whenever we get snow or when other trails are too wet to ride. Got a late start so only got to sample a few trails before dusk today. Plan to go back next Sunday and will post a ride!
