Scott Cammarn, Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft, Charlotte, NC – Center for Banking and Finance Practitioner in Residence Mr. Cammarn is a partner at Cadwalader in Charlotte, where he works in bank regulation, financial regulation, swap regulation, and anti-money laundering and asset forfeiture. He has also served as Associate General Counsel at Bank of America, General Counsel of Lending Tree, and Bank Regulatory Counsel for Ally Financial (formerly, GMAC Financial Services). He will speak to Professor Broome’s Banking Law class on the Volcker Rule, added by the Dodd-Frank Act to prohibit any banking entity from engaging in proprietary lending or having an interest in or sponsorship of a hedge or private equity fund.
