He had a few words about his experience: “A big thanks to Malcolm and the Vector Martini Offshore Powerboat Race Team for giving me the most exciting time anybody could have on water. Just climbing into the boat, which is a work of art, was an experience to savour. Then the pilot fired up the engines – not just one – but both of them - picture being at drag races in the US – this boat sounded like the top double AA fuel dragster…man it was loud, loud, loud. Cruising out of the harbour, seat belts fastened, wearing miked up headphones - 10 minutes later he hit the throttle and we were pinned to our seats literally flying across the water at over 100mph. A day to remember and thanks again to the team for giving me the ride of my life.”
