Scott Rhodes, Principal of East Henderson High School, is the 2015 Wells Fargo Principal of the Year for the Henderson County Public Schools. He was selected by his peers because of his excellent leadership and commitment to the students. Mr. Rhodes will serve as the 2015 HCPS Principal of the Year from January 2015 until December 2015. To surprise Mr. Rhodes, John Bryant, Director of Human Resources, took him off campus long enough for students and staff to gather along the driveway leading into East High. He returned to hundreds of students and East High staff lining the driveway holding signs and shouting, “Congratulations, Mr. Rhodes.”
