Scottish Scout Contingent to USA Jamboree – July 2013 2 leaders from the 70th Greenock and District Scouts are looking forward to the trip of a lifetime this summer. Peter Bennett (Group Scout Leader) and Roland Shackell (Cub Scout Leader) were recently invited to join the leadership team of a Scottish Contingent heading for the USA this summer. In response to a very generous invitation recently from the Connecticut Yankee Council of Boy Scouts of America for a party from Scotland to join with 540 of their members in attending the BSA National Jamboree next summer, Scottish Scout Headquarters has put together a contingent comprising 24 Scouts and Explorer Scouts and 6 Leaders from all over Scotland to cross the pond and take part in this great adventure. lylekirk.org/70th-Scouts.html
