Scotty is more than a pet. He rescued my other dogs! He loves my grandchildren, he cuddles and talks. Hes my friend. I thought and saw a loving home for him when I was up there on the 24th. He was happy with his new owners and their dog. I accepted it and was overjoyed for him! This has been really hard and I dont know where to begin. As for the shelter, its a no kill now. Which I didnt know. They use to be yrs ago. He will stay there as long as he has to till someone adopts him or I get him here. With that said, I am relieved and heartbroke. Worried about him. Hes a runner. He will take off and go back to my house. So if he gets adopted and takes off, he will do what ever it takes to get back to my house. Traveling across hwys and wild terrain. In the cold even. "So here is what we have to remember , Scotty like his human is suffering a loss as well. His human is gone, he was given away, he jumped a fince to find his human. They NEED to be together some how some way we have to reunite them First thing is get him out of the shelter.......then we have to work on getting him here. As soon as he is out let me know I will make some calls and see what we can do He has to get back with his human he is searching for her" So ... We need to get Scotty out and under our control. Whoever fosters needs to be able to keep him secure.
