Scout Sunday is May 4, 2014. We will meet at the First United Methodist Church at 2nd and Oak in Garnett at 9:45am to get stuff set up for Sunday Service and the following dinner. Please be in Class A shirt and blue jeans/green scout pants!! NO shorts, no camo, no sweat pants! You will also need your neckerchiefs and merit badge sashes. The Methodist Church is our Chartered Organization so this is why we hold Scout Sunday there. Following the service there will be a dinner downstairs in Asbury Hall and the congregation will be invited to eat with us. Each Scout family needs to bring a vegetable/salad/casserole and a dessert, enough to feed at least 25 people. Troop will provide the meat, cheesy potatoes, drinks, and table service. There will be a Troop meeting after the dinner to get last minute stuff for May campout, Memorial Day flags, and Bartle MBs if you havent filled out an MB sheet yet. Also please remember to bring your signed Code of Conduct paper to the meeting. Parents and Scouts need to sign it!!
