Scout the maligator routinely makes appearances with me at the range, during classes, or when Im out and about. Shes a total crackhead and lives to chase the ball. I constantly get people telling me I love how she looks! I really want a German Shepherd! or Is that one of those dogs from Call of Duty? I try to smile, laugh, and try to explain shes a Belgian Malinois not a shepherd. And Mals are NOT for everyone. In fact most people should avoid getting one if they value their sanity. True story. This is a snapshot of daily life with Scout. Im trying to prep for another SRM class starting in the morning and someones been demanding to go play ball. I take her outside and run her for a bit. I literally have to hide the ball from her so she will stop demanding I throw it. Now Im stuck listening to her hyperventilate for the next hour. Like I said, if you value your sanity dont get a Maligator. But shes awesome if youre looking for a partner and crime.
