Scranton Attendance Center Update – 9 am – September 12, 2014 We had an employee believe that they again smelled gas this morning. Since we had staff believe they smelled gas yesterday and again today, school has been cancelled for today. The district will conduct a pressure test on the lines today to ensure the lines aren’t leaking. The results of the test will be made available once we have them later today. Thus far, we haven’t found any issues with the gas line, with the exception of the flex hose, which was reported. I apologize for this inconvenience, but we want to be absolutely sure there are no issues with the gas lines at SAC. If you need to get in the building to retrieve something, its safe, the front door of SAC is open. Just head to the kitchen area and look for Doug Lester and he will help you get what you need.
