A CROP is planned quality time to work on your album project without the interruptions of the phone ringing, the kids or husband calling, the housework or 19 other projects beckoning! It is a time for exchanging ideas, learning new techniques and tricks, meeting new people who share your addiction, laughter, stories, and even tears! CROPS are a great deal of fun and wonderful for getting pages completed! Common Questions about crops: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? WHAT IS INCLUDED? Standard Crops are $8.00 and last four hours. You may CROP anytime there is not a scheduled crop or class for $2.00 an hour or any portion of an hour BUT MUST FIRST CALL AHEAD to be sure there is space. During the CROP, you may use the circle/oval cutters, blade runners, personal trimmers, uni-cut trimmers, deckle trimmer, the Punch Center with over 500 punches (due to many recent thefts, punch center will now be a pay to use area and may or may not be available for free use at specialty crops), The Info Center with thousands of ideas for page spreads, templates, borderline rulers, stencils, deco scissors, corner rounders, and more! We are happy to cut die cuts for you from the Ellison/Accu Cut/QuicKutz/Sizzix Die Cut Center,Pazzles, etc at a charge, Zyron Center is available to make a sticker out of just about anything, and Archival Mist is available by the squirt for a small fee! PERSONALIZED INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION IS ALSO AVAILABLE AT EVERY CROP! One-On-Ones may be scheduled by appointment if extra attention is required. WHAT DO I BRING? Your photos and memorabilia and any consumables you may already have on hand! We do not provide any consumables and the store is open during every CROP should you need anything! WILL FOOD BE SERVED? Not at regular four hour crops. Drinks are available for a charge. You are more than welcome to bring your own food. IF MY SITTER FALLS THROUGH, CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN? NO! Please reschedule for another time. We cannot allow children to attend the crops as they are a distraction to YOU and to others. This is a time for you and the other ladies to get away from your children and responsibilities...nursing Moms may bring quiet infants although it is not recommended. CAN I BRING A FRIEND? Yes! Register her when you call to schedule your CROP! You should call or email at least three days ahead as space is limited! Email tracy@scrapbooktraditions or call 774-1880. I CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE CROP! MAY I JUST COME SHOP? Yes! Call ahead if it is a night crop to be sure the store is open as schedules sometimes change without notice! WHERE CAN I FIND THE CROP SCHEDULE? Join Scrapbook Traditions free egroup at yahoogroups to receive the crop calendars by email and view the schedule online at scrapbooktraditions! If the schedule does not fit your needs, call or email us! We are happy to plan an unscheduled CROP for you and four friends with pre-paid reservations 3 days ahead of the chosen date. Scheduled crops must be reserved by NOON three days before the event and night crops must have five or more croppers or night crop will be cancelled. Join Face Book as a fan! HOW DO I PURCHASE PRODUCT AT CROPS? A tally sheet will be kept by Scrapbook Traditions staff at the counter to keep up with your product purchases. This will enable you to pull and use the any store products during the CROP! Fees are collected at the end of the CROP! STICKERS MAY NOT BE RETURNED FOR ANY REASON ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN TORN FROM THE ROLL! ONE-ON-ONES ARE BILLED AT $10.00 PER HOUR OR ANY PORTION OF THE HOUR. IF WE ARE SCRAPBOOKING THE PAGES FOR YOU, YOU ARE BILLED AT $15.00 PER HOUR OR ANY PORTION OF THE HOUR. BIRTHDAY CLUB/FREE CROPS! Please make sure we have your birthday on file! Once you have made your first purchase in our store and become an established customer, during the month of your birthday you are entitled to a one time 10% Discount off any one purchase (the entire purchase!) You may also take advantage of a regular four hour free crop for two of your choice during your special month with minimum purchase of $10.00 or more! It is our way of saying We sincerely appreciate your business! The birthday discount does not apply to any sale items or special orders and cannot be used by anyone other than you, the special birthday person! Birthday crops may not be used for Midnight Madness or special crop events. Crop Schedules are posted monthly on our web site at scrapbooktraditions and sent via email through this group. Crop reservations should be made at least three days in advance. Should you not find a crop on the schedule that suits your needs, we are happy to schedule one just for you and your guest!
