Scrat, Cinnamon and I just finished up with Dr. Mueller and the consensus is that shell need a regional mastectomy and will then need to be spayed. Cancerous growths like this develop when a dog isnt spayed. Each cycle increases the chance for mammary cancer. Good news is that Scrat is well enough to undergo surgery and will get a new lease on life! Shes headed for blood work, then X-ray, then ultrasound and will have the procedure completed on Thursday.
