Scripture teaches us that all things are lawful but not expedient. - TopicsExpress

Scripture teaches us that all things are lawful but not expedient. (that is to say that a person, even these men can do what they want to do as it relates to putting their lives on display to the degree of a reality show but it may not be profitable or does not edify). 1 Cor 10:23 and 1 Cor 6:12 Does it tare down or does it build up? Is it really advancing the cause or Christ, or is it playing into the carnal mindedness of Christians. We must continue to contend for the faith and not allow anyone or anything to cause our actions or decisions to become stumbling blocks for unbelievers. Even when it is friendly fire from within. We must move in wisdom....wisdom....wisdom....SATAN IS AN OPPORTUNIST. When it comes to what these Pastors are getting paid, if their BOARD/CHURCH approved their salary I have no problem with that. Besides they deserve double honor according to scripture. However, I would say people like Bill Gates, The Kennedys, Warren Buffet and the Rockefellers were people who were and are loaded with money. But they did not flaunt it. Matter of fact they are humble people and carry themselves in such away that is CHRIST LIKE. Let us not forget the word of God, not the culture, should always remain the center and the measuring stick in which we guide our behavior. God does not mind us having wealth, but wealth should never have us. Finally If we NEED a reality show to show that we as preachers are human and have issues, then we are in trouble.
