Scrolled through my facebook post to find out that one of my former colleague is retiring upon her full service term. Its so surreal to know that this moment has arrived when it still feels like yesterday I was sitting right behind her in the staff room :) Mdm. Mary Loi, the education system is going to miss you very much. Your students are going to miss you very much. I am going to miss seeing you if I visit the school when I go back... When i think of you, all i can think of is how you have embodied what Grace and Joy is in a teaching career. I have learnt so much from you and hope that many others have learnt that too. Thank you for being such an inspiring mentor to me especially in my early years as a teacher. Thank you for all the kind words and love and care that you selflessly showered me with during my years of service. I am very very grateful for that and wish you a blessed life beyond your journey as an educator in the Msian education system. :)
