Scythian: ( Turkik Eagle Symbol-- its symbol also in Akemenid-Hakhamanesh Architecture in Susa, Takhte Jamshid --Iran) As i said, the Eagle of Scythian ( Turkik ) tribes symbol is one way one can search for clues in other civilizations, we know that Iran, Summer, Mesapotamia region, all other regions do not use Eagle for hunting, Eagle hunting is a sport to this day among people of Caucasus, Mongolia, which takes us to Scytian Turkik tribes, since they did move to all such regions. While Mongolians attacked Central Asia, the rest of asia, Europe during Gangis Khan Era, and they do not have sophisticated gold or art works, or elaborate crafts, goldsmith as such, they are more of a warrior type nomads, more simple compare to Scythians, Scythians were a bit sophisticated, as much as they were Warriors, they were great Artisans, possibly this was good way for them to trade their talents with others goods. One can see the Eagle symbol in Takhte Jamshid, again it indicates the influence of Scythian ( Turkik Tribes ). We know Akemenids or ( Hakhamaneshi ) Columns in Susa, Perspolis, etc.. is a combination of various styles, with a very clever and creative unified new identity, it is a mix of other cultures combined, presented in a very unique, new, package giving it an Iranian Identity. The modification of Ionic columns of Greeks from a double sided goat horne shape at the capital of the column, modifying it to double at top and stacking two of them on top of each other, a double stacked on top, double stack below. It is is basically an Ionic greek column reversed upwards instead of downwards, with Scythian Turkik, modified, however in a very creative way, the two heads of the Bull on top of Persian column provides a space in the middle to support the weight above or the beam above. The point of it all here is to say that Persian Akhemenid Architecture indeed did borrow ideas from other older cultures, there are more to explain, i will suffice here and now by not going in length here, but for the sake of Arguments, i will say that the Eagle was borrowed from Scythian Turkik Civilization, and the two heads of the Bull is another indication of Scythian, since Scythians also used Double headed eagles, as well as single headed ones. So the Persian Hakhamanesh column is the combination of Greek and Scythian column idea, Persians created variety by using both, in one column capital we see double Eagle heads, in another we see two double headed Bulls, but the Double head concept is clearly Scythian concept. In the other Persian column Eagle was used, two headed Eagle. However I also think its a good possibility Scythian Turks were also influencing the Greeks, since they were very ancient, and were in everywhere, including Europe. 1.
