Sea Aggie Alert: Due to the ongoing repair construction on the Pelican Island Bridge the contractor that is replacing the hinge/lift mechanism must close the bridge to vehicular traffic in order to jack the lift span off of the hinge. These closures are tentatively scheduled for Saturday September, 20th 2014 from 7am to 7pm. The bridge will close periodically for up to an 90 min throughout that time period. This closure was originally scheduled for Saturday September, 13th. Please stay aware of these closures and future updates.
