Sea Shepherd Update The Steve Irwin is back in the water – fully repaired with new props and stronger hull. The ship will leave on the high tide down the Tamar River and will return to Williamstown to berth alongside the Sam Simon and the Bob Barker. The Brigitte Bardot is in the Faroe Islands along with the vessels Columbus, Thor, Loki, Mike Galesi and B.S. Sheen. 80 volunteers are in the islands. 6 boats in the water. Day 63 – No whales have been killed. The Jairo Mora Sandoval is working on turtle conservation projects in Cape Verde off the West African coast. The Bob Barker and the Sam Simon are in Williamstown in Victoria, Australia being prepared for a Southern Ocean campaign in December. Project Toxic Gulf continues in the Gulf of Mexico onboard the vessel Odyssey. Preparations are under way for the Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians to return to Taiji, Japan on September 1st as Operation Infinite Patience continues in our ceaseless efforts to end the slaughter of dolphins in Japan.
