Sea horse or coral? Is it a fish or a rock? These are just some of the many images of eye-catching underwater species in this Sunday’s episode of Born to be Wild. At night, when everyone else is sleeping, many species become more active underwater. Doc Ferds Recio and his team document a moray eel looking for food, and a stone fish that looks like an ordinary coral but is actually on the hunt for prey! Doc Ferds also sees a fascinating creature—a nudibranch or sea slug dubbed as the “Spanish dancer” for its graceful moves underwater. Meanwhile, Doc Nielsen Donato witnesses how some marine animals camouflage to protect themselves from predators. In their search for amazing camouflage abilities, Doc Nielsen and his team film an amazing moment: an octopus changes its color five times as the Born cameras roll! Don’t miss Born to be Wild this Sunday after AHA!
