Sea levels may rise by 2.3 metres per degree of global warming! Physical land loss and reduction of living space is often thought to be the main consequence of rising sea levels. However the main impact higher seas will have is on the frequency and magnitude of coastal storms. We should expect more destructive storms to occur more often. Which in turn will result in more coastal flooding and loss of crop land. trust.org/item/20130713141546-yfcx6
