Seagram’s 100 Pipers presents a U2 Tribute Series ‘Elevation’ makes some days better than others through their interpretation of U2 Seagram’s 100 Pipers Pure Music has a long association with music. As part of its special ‘Tributes’ series, they have presented House Of Floyd – the Pink Floyd Tribute Band, Queen, The Beatles, The Doors, Foreigner, Jethro Tull, America, Vanessa Mae, Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan, and The London Symphony Orchestra, among others on tours across India. This time Seagram’s 100 Pipers Pure Music pays tribute to reinvention and uniqueness; to a band that has, since its inception in 1976, constantly renewed itself. So much so, in the year 2000, they even began reworking their sound so they could ‘reapply for the job ... [of] the best band in the world’. Seagram’s 100 Pipers presents a tribute to the ‘original of the species’ - U2, through ‘Elevation – the U2 experience’! This tribute band journey through Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Pune, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Shilong, Guwahati, and Kolkata from September 11 through October 6, 2013 . In PUNE they will be playing on Wed 25th September 2013 at Cocopara Hailing from the shores of Liverpool, England, Elevation has been vowing audiences with the U2 Experience since 2002. While they began locally, the world was soon initiated into the taste of their raw passion for music and their academic attention to musical detail. Both, music lovers and connoisseurs, realized that Elevation had the most authentic sights and sounds of U2. The band members consist of Stuart (Bono), an accomplished musician and song writer with great vocal talent, Alan (The Edge), a guitarist par excellence who has worked with some of the biggest names in the music circuit, Tony (Adam) a bass player and song writer who also now runs his own musical production company Catapult Enterprises and Mark (Larry) whose illustrious music career has seen him signed up with some of the biggest record labels! Every tribute performance of theirs, no matter where in the world, enthuses their audiences with that unforgettable fire. “U2 is not just a band.
