Sean G. Cobb Dan Halvorsen ok I have to revise and extend on our smuggs conversation. I will allow you to decide. After watching GM and Toyota in the last few weeks I do not think a corporation can commit a criminal act. It must be done by people. The corp can have a bad culture that can contribute but it must come from somewhere. A corp is a thing just like a rock. If I pick it up and throw it through your window I get blamed. Not the rock! I will fall back on. I think their for I am! The corp can not think! It has no conscious thought to do good or bad. As Toyota has now admitted to criminal behavior it was fined. That punishes the people who own the corp. I grant that they have some responsibility in picking management... But it was a person who made the decision to commit the illegal act. The corp is just as at fault as the gun in a shooting. The person pulling the trigger is responsible. Just like the rock above.
