Sean & James have had a great send off from Fota Island Resort this morning with a large group of marathoners, family, friends and once again Sonia OSullivan. The runners have been making their way through the forest trail within the resort and along side the same golf course that held the Irish Open this year before proceeding into Fota Gardens and Fota Wildlife Park. The weather has turned wet but it has not dampened spirits and the half marathon has also just begun from Barryscourt Castle in Carrigtwohill.
