Sean McCutcheon this gives me an idea. More like a spark of something, but I cant quite illustrate it. The similarities between these and celestial phenomenon such as nebulae and supernovae reminded me of Carl Sagans explanation of higher dimensions by describing how we would only see one cross section at a time. That in flatland, the inhabitants would only see a single slice, but to observe a whole apple from their dimension, they would need to add in another dimension of time. It would need to be animated in order to see the true shape and nature of the object. So looking outward, for us, observing, say, the birth and death of a star, were only seeing a cross section at a time. Id like to try to illustrate the life cycle of the star as a whole. In the same way that someone in flatland would attempt to put together an apple. Im wondering what shapes this would make.
