NSW Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Large Hail, Heavy Rain, Damaging Winds Source: Bureau of Meteorology For people in the Mid North Coast, Hunter and parts of the Northern Rivers, Central Tablelands and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts. Issued at 3:40 pm Sunday, 25 January 2015. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Taree, Newcastle and Tenterfield.
