Sean, my beloved. This, the story of Us, is my favorite story of all time, and it continues to unfold in the most surprisingly beautiful and interesting ways as time goes on. This year, since we wed, we have lived on the road in our JoyCo tent trailer for nearly two months. Traversed the sky to explore the terrain and people of Nepal, India and Indonesia. Given each other the space to do what we individually need to do. We have endured the unendurable. Excavated potent fears, desires, struggles, questions, agonizing disconnect, and somehow come out stronger on the other side. We worked toward a common goal together and successfully navigated working on the same boat this past summer in our beloved Alaska. Weve shared stories, words, and poetry on stage and in our basement sanctuary. Weve made new friends and discovered fresh joy and light at Beloved Festival and Caravansary ~ Burning Man. And just a few days ago, on the 30th of September, we lost our sweet friend, Binah Zing, whom was our gracious host at OneDoorLand for our magical wedding weekend, almost exactly one year ago. Thank you for holding both deep sadness and ecstatic connection with such grace and warm-hearted space. I feel ever more safe and trusting in these waves we ride together. Thank you for this enchanted 1st anniversary. I look forward to what this next year brings, and into the beyond. You are a magnificent friend, lover, playmate, partner and husband. I love you endlessly and with increasing depth.
