Sean stayed with me last night and we watched Avatar, hadnt seen it before but what a brilliant film. Hats off to James Cameron for highlighting in a film accessible to children, how we, have lost our way as a species. A parody of war, foreign policy, disregard to sacred sites, spirituality and the devastation of indigenous people and their habitats around the world. The purging of the the planets resources in the pursuit of profit was beautifully illustrated by the greedy cooperation wanting to harvest the mineral Unobtainium at any cost. Sean certainly seemed to understand and get the message. I love that he is getting older and we could talk about it afterwards. Although at 11 he still stands on that brink between his childhood and his teenage years. But the icing on the cake, on my first day of the happiness challenge was when I put him to bed and he said Nan, I love you so much Happy, I couldnt be happier x
