Search And Rescue Winch Practice This is a standard VOO (Vessel Of Opportunity) winching practice flown by members of the British Royal Navys 771 Naval Air Squadron, who fly the Sea King Mk5. This video was used throughout 2013 at presentations and demonstration days to illustrate the close cooperation between crew members that is essential to safely transfer the winchman to and from a boats deck. The voices that you can here are the Pilot Flying, Pilot Non Flying, Winchman and Winch Operator as they discuss, plan, brief and then execute the practice.
