Search for President & CEO First Resort Inc. Womens Health and Pregnancy Counseling Non-Profit Organization San Francisco Bay Area Our client has operated for the past 29 years as a pregnancy counseling and womens medical clinic in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Licensed by the State of California as a 501(c)(3) public benefit non-profit organization, it provides a broad range of counseling and medical care services to women of all ages who are making decisions about unplanned pregnancies. They are currently seeking their next President & CEO who will provide dynamic leadership and direction to this organization through identifying, organizing, and mobilizing a wide variety of resources and stakeholders to create and implement programs and initiatives focused on providing women with counseling and support to help them make decisions based on their personal beliefs and values. The new President/CEO will ensure that a womans right to make her own decision is supported through accurate information, licensed medical services and professional counseling as she makes her decision, in addition to on-going practical, emotional support once made. The new President will have a passion for and commitment to the organizations mission and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This person will possess the highest integrity both professionally and personally, providing leadership by example to staff, clients, and key stakeholders to ensure that best practices are followed in all areas including development and implementation of the organizations strategic plan, organizational leadership, and resource development/fundraising. The new President/CEO will lead the effort to strengthen its work in the Bay Area today while enhancing its position for the future through appropriate programs, relationships, and identifying new resource development (funding) sources. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President/CEO will have responsibility for planning, directing and managing day to day operations. In doing so, the President/CEO will lead the development and implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives to meet the goals and objectives for the organization as defined by Board of Directors and leadership. The President/CEO will bring an entrepreneurial vision to the position, identifying and pursuing new opportunities to expand its impact in meeting the needs of women with unplanned pregnancies in the Bay Area. Through this leadership, the President/CEO will strengthen the organizations role in the community to ensure the welfare of their clients through its presence and commitment in the Bay Area. The new President/CEO will ensure that appropriate strategies and policies are developed and implemented and that the staff reflects the experience, knowledge and abilities required to meet the challenges of the future. This individual will be a consensus builder with the ability to effectively work with the business community, local and state agencies, religious and private organizations as well as other stakeholders to promote the work and mission of the organization. In addition, the new President/CEO will provide guidance in strengthening and enhancing the resource development program, incorporating strong diversified fundraising strategies to ensure revenues are available to meet the financial needs of the organizations mission. The new President/CEO will be the Chief Spokesperson, taking the message to business and community organizations, local churches and other faith-based organizations, developing relationships to increase awareness of services available and its value to the communities they serve. The new President/CEO will successfully lead staff and constituencies through the ability to influence, inspire, motivate and nurture the level of trust and confidence required.
