Searching for the Sound of Oxygene I am currently busy writing/recording/producing my debut album and I want it to sound as close to Oxygene as possible. There are so many sound production plugins on the market now but I really want to have that old analog sound for this album and for the albums to come. Ive chosen a brand which comes as close to the real thing as possible but they have so many EQs, Compressors, Tapemachines, etc I did not know what was a good choice until I talked to a producer buddy of mine Roopesh Patel and came across this interesting article about Jean Michels re-recording of Oxygene. It helped me a lot in terms of what tools I need to create a warm and analog album. Maybe interesting for some of you.
