Season 2 of House of Cards was fun even if its trying to steal some thunder from Game of Thrones in the plot twist department. That show selects some interesting directors. While it lacked the return of David Fincher it also benefited from having no Joel Schumacher, so those two evened out nicely. Robin Wright and Jodie Foster each directed one episode, and Robin Wrights was only slightly annoying in that she was fascinated by the back of Kevin Spaceys head, but it was still better directed than anything Ive seen by Sean Penn. The best news was that about half the season was directed by James Glengarry Glen Ross Foley. Nobody directs Spacey like James Foley!
