Season II of the biennial Womens Theatre Festival of Memphis will run 3 days, Aug. 7-9 in the Midtown Theatre District of Memphis. By popular demand, Camp Logan, the recently produced WWI drama, written by Texas award winning playwright Celeste Bedford-Walker, will be on the Circuit Playhouse stage. Brothers With A Storys, (BWAS) spokesperson, noted stage and film actor TC Sharpe, says, We take pride in being a part of this play and WTFM, now an International Festival, in our hometown. The play will be part of a line-up of 36 productions, workshops, readings, and more. Returning will be the cast who were directed by Ron Gephart, so those who have seen it, can see it again, and new patrons. The one-time performance will be one of several plays on the Mainstage- the Circuit Playhouse located at 51 So. Cooper, across the street from Playhouse on the Square.
