God is great and loves us in all our diversity!!2014 has been a year that one could DANCE for and about: In our Eastern and Southern Africa region, PMTCT coverage rose to 75%, with the result that the number of new infections among children fell by more than 65%. This trend in new infections indicates that the region is on track to reaching the target of elimination by end of 2015. More than 7 million people are receiving Antiretroviral therapy, with a significant decrease in AIDS-Related Deaths. This is about 65% of all people receiving ART globally and the region is indeed on track to reach the UN political declaration target for 2015. We are also on track to reach the target of reducing TB/HIV related deaths by 50%. Still a lot of work to do in 2015, especially in countries that are lagging behind.....but God is in charge!!.
