Seattle is just like the rest of america. Slowly waking up. Very slowly. We all make mistakes and its a shame that waiter didnt understand. You have to first be aware before you can change. Many never reach awareness though what ever reason. Some do and still choose to be assholes. I got a little ways down the comments before stopping and saying Oh yea I should never read these This is easily a not all men allegory but Im trying not to make it one. We are all xenophobic on some level, us vs them is pretty hard wired into us. We all have to be better humans to make this change. If people can choose not to eat meat then we all can choose not to listen to our lizard brain.
