Second Annual Holiday Art Exhibition and Sale “CELEBRATION” GALLERY 2905 / The South Bay’s Showcase at Universal Media Access Call for Art !!! DEADLINE: OCTOBER 24th, 2014 This year’s theme is “CELEBRATION”. Everyone has a reason to celebrate; it could be life or death, the earth, the seasons, Christmas, Hanukah, Thanks Giving, Dance, Music, etc. Show is open to all artists, from 2D and 3D, to graphic design and illustration, musicians, dancers, poets, etc. No Entry Fee. Statement/description of the work, 100 words including size, media and year produced. Please include price, if for sale. 2. Bio 100 word. 3. For performing artists, contact loum73@hotmail Accepted works will be exhibited between November 8 and December 6, 2014 DATES & TIMELINE - Drop off Art for Installation at Gallery 2905 – Saturday, Oct. 25 from 3 – 5pm and Monday or Oct. 27 from 6 – 8 pm. Bring completed agreement and labeled works. - Artist Reception – Saturday, November 8 from 6 – 9 pm. - Exhibition Dates – November 9 – December 5, 2014 - Pick Up Exhibited Work – Saturday, December 6 from 3 – 5 pm. - Requirement: • Work must be in gallery appropriate condition: clean, undamaged (including frame), secure and ready for display (i.e. “ready to hang on a nail” or set on the floor or pedestal for 3-d work). • 2-D works on paper must be framed (gallery appropriate). • Must be wired and ready to hang. • The artist understands and consents to use of submitted art in promotion of the exhibition and the gallery. Note: As this Gallery operates inside the venue of a Radio Station, and based on our very strict multicultural community, we feel forced to ban the display of any explicit nudity and violent content.
