Second Graders from Clarksville Elementary School visited the Bluestone High Agriculture Department to get an up close look at a solar powered chicken coop. They demonstrated their knowledge of chickens and discovered things to add to their own chicken coop. The students learned how solar energy works and keeps the chickens warm. While at BHS, they also saw chicken eggs in the incubator, a bunny, added worms to a compost pile (which will be a treat for the chickens later), and visited the catfish tank.
