Second International Conference on Human Security is an academic event that is going to gather scholars and practitioners from human security area, with the goal of re-examining the 20-year period of human security concept, with special focus on new theoretical discourses and dominant practices in their implementation. Thus, the conference will provide a platform for dialogue among academic researchers, development researchers, political and economy researchers, with an idea of exchanging information related to the conference theme. The Conference is the 10-years follow-up event, after the first International Conference Human Security – 10 Years Later organized by the Faculty of Civil Defence (predecessor of the Faculty of Security Studies) in 2004.
