Second Mastador pup is a little lass. She was in some distress. Part of the placenta was wrapped tight around the sac. When Bev got the puppy extricated, she was limp. Bev swung the pup, head down, between her legs to move fluid out of her nasal passages and bronchial tube. She rubbed the puppy vigorously to stimulate blood flood, and pinched the back of her neck, shaking gently, to elicit crying. That worked and helped to clear her lungs. She worked on her for about a half hour. Puppy is a little raspy, but nothing we are worried about. We have had worse raspiness than this clear in a day or two. Beverly clearly saved this pups life. She would not have survived without very quick and significant intervention.
