Second day of 2am waking up and picking my poor dad up out of the floor. He is a strong and determined man, as am I. Once the heavy lifting is done, I love our coffee/conversation time, though I wouldnt mind if it were say 8am instead of 2. Both my parents had physical therapy and a good workout last evening. Its crazy the twists and turns the road of life takes us. The trick is to focus on the positive, no matter how small. I wouldnt want to be anywhere but here providing the best love and care that I can for both of my parents. We had the best day yesterday. Theres nothing quite as special as taking my parents out for a drive in the beautiful sunshine with the sunroof open and the beautiful Tennessee landscape surrounding us.
